Tobii C8 and C12

The C-Series communication devices have been designed by Tobii Technologies.  They are available with an 8” screen (C8) or a 12” screen (C12).  They are both fast computers with wireless internet access. 

The screen is accessible with a finger touch, and switch ports are built in.

Practical design

The weather proof exteriors of the C8 and C12 have no buttons or protruding parts and can be easily cleaned. They are designed for tough conditions with shock-mounted hard drives.

The C8 runs for 4 hours continuous use (or 6 hours with the long life batteries) and the C12 runs for 5 hours.  Both allow the batteries to be swapped without turning off the computer.  Battery life can be further extended by allowing the machine to power down, as it may be turned on or off with an access switch.  Wheelchair power supplies are also available.
