SoundPOD
The SoundPOD is a wearable AAC speaker system that can wirelessly connect to an iPad via Bluetooth. It can be worn on a breakaway neck lanyard that uses a single handed quick-release. When removed from the lanyard the SoundPOD can magnetically attach to the iPod or iPad to create an all-in-one solution.
The SoundPOD was engineered from the ground up to meet the assistive needs of an AAC device user with no clips, attachments, or buttons that require fine motor skills.
The speaker attaches to the strap of the iPad carry case to provide voice output from a natural position.
