EyeTech TM4

The EyeTech TM4 works with the PowerBox 7 communication aid and other PC based devices.

It plugs in via a standard USB cable and is designed to fit under any standard flat screen monitor or laptop. One the major advantages with the TM4 is that users can have eye gaze access to both a portable device on their wheelchair and a larger screen at home or in the office - all using the same camera.

The USB connection provides sufficient power to run the TM4 camera without the need for an additional power source - making it easy to move it between different computers.

The TM4 works seamlessly with The Grid 2. The software includes a variety of settings that enable the user to achieve the most accurate access possible.

Our Assessment and support teams will help you adjust these settings to suit the needs of each individual user. Special cells such as 'rest' and 'calibrate' are included in all our eye gaze software options.
The EyeTech TM4 is available with the PowerBox 7, but can be used with any PC with Windows XP, Vista and 7 via USB. The advantage of the TM4 is that is requires no additional power. If using a standard PC, you can use a 12" to 21" monitor.

The software will work for the majority of users who wear contact lenses or glasses. There are options for dwell, blink or using a switch to select items onscreen. The EyeTech system has a track box of size 25 x 16 x 19 cm, allowing for users with some head movement.

The TM4 provides a range of options to help users with their calibration, including the number of calibration points. The software also allows you to use only one eye for calibration and tracking. Graphical feedback is shown at the end of the calibration process.

The software offers a 'mouse-control' mode which allows users to access standard Windows programs directly, using offscreen buttons for mouse actions.
