Tobii CEye
The CEye has been designed to work with the Tobii C12 and C15 communication aids.
The camera fits on to the bottom of the device to give eye gaze access. It allows a large range of head movement; this makes mounting easier as the alignment is less critical. It can work in a wide range of lighting conditions - essential for a mobile device. It is also able to re-detect your eyes and start tracking you again automatically if you should move out of range, or if the device is temporarily removed from the mount.
Calibration is quick and easy, with a range of options to aid the process.

The Tobii CEye works seamlessly with both The Grid 2 and Tobii Communicator 4.
In each case the software includes a variety of settings that enable the user to achieve the most accurate access possible. Our Assessment and support teams will help you adjust these settings to suit the needs of each individual user.
Special cells such as 'rest' and 'calibrate' are included in all our eye gaze software options.

The Tobii CEye is currently available with the Tobii C12 and C15, with 12" and 15" screen size respectively, both of which run Windows 7.
Users have the option to dwell, blink or use a switch to select items onscreen. The CEye works for the majority of users, including those wearing glasses or contact lenses. It is designed to work in a variety of light conditions.
The Tobii CEye has the largest track box available (40 x 30 x 20 cm), ensuring that it continues to work well for those with head movement. If your gaze falls outside the track box, the CEye will start tracking you again as soon as you reenter, without requiring the system to recalibrate.
There is a wide range of options when calibrating including the number of points required, using an image or video as a target, manual or automatic calibration, speed, audio feedback and size of target. Graphical feedback is shown once calibration has finished, with an option to improve if needed. The Tobii CEye also allows users to calibrate with only one eye.
Tobii devices equipped with CEye use a technique that allows you to interact directly with objects on the screen. Using a transparent window with mouse actions allows users to control standard Windows applications directly.
