Alea Intelligaze

The Alea Intelligaze is available with the Powerbox communication aid.

The Powerbox with Intelligaze is a complete solution for wheelchair mounting.  Note that the image shows the Alea Intelligaze with a monitor. An image showing the Powerbox with the Intelligaze will be available soon.

How it works 

A camera built into the Alea Intelligaze detects where your eyes are looking, so you can highlight something on the screen simply by looking at it.  

To select the item you are looking at, you can either press a separate switch, or blink, or look at the object for (say) 5 seconds to select it.

Communication

The system comes with The Grid 2, which allows you to make and speak sentences with symbols or text.  There are lots of options for eye gaze in The Grid 2 to allow you to customise the system for the user.
