Key 48 is for older children and adults who have some basic or developing literacy skills but difficulty with access. The system is based around a keyboard for typing messages with word and phrase prediction.
From here you can follow the links to a large symbol based vocabulary that has been sub divided into topics.
The vocabulary also includes Key 8 and Key 6 that are based on the same model but have been adapted for users with more limited access.
You can download a range of the Key series from the Sensory Software Online Grids website. Search for Key 6, Key 8, Key 12, Key 24 and Key 48. You must have The Grid 2 installed to use this grid set. Contact us for a demonstration copy of The Grid 2.
